Code of Conduct
1. The students must maintain a high standard of discipline and shall endeavour to promote the honour of the college.
2. Every student shall have to submit the declaration along with the form submitted to the disciplinary jurisdiction of the college authority.
3. Entry of students is prohibited into the college campus without a proper uniform and identity card.
4. 75% attendance is compulsory to be exempted from being dis-collegiate. Failure of the attendance will result in forfeiting the benefits of scholarship and other facilities.
5. It is a prime duty of the students to check the college notice board/website at least once a day.
6. Seat of the student will be forfeited if she/he is found absent for a period of 7 days from admission without intimation to the college authority.
7. All forms of ragging on the college campus are strictly prohibited. Violation of the dignity, status and honour of the students as well as verbal abuse, aggression and obscene behaviour etc. are liable to disciplinary action.
8. Students in college uniform, even outside the college campus, if found guilty of engaging in any kind of activities that affects the reputation of the college will be considered as a punishable offence.
9. The college premise is alcohol and smoking-free zones and must make the campus plastic free.
10. Use of mobile phones on the college campus is strictly confined to academic purposes.
11. Any notice, meeting, or programme to be circulated or organised in the college and also the participation in any outstation functions, programmes etc. representing the college will be subjected to prior permission of the college authority.
12. Students shall refrain from misbehaviour towards any personnel of the college. The Behaviour of the students should be decent and honourable.
13. Political and organisational activities are restricted in the college campus except those which are specially permitted by the college authority.
14. Unauthorised entry into the college premises on holidays is prohibited.
15. Causing damage to any property of the college is liable to disciplinary action.
16. The disciplinary action may result in such as rustication, temporary suspension, fine, written or public apology, withholding of scholarship or result, handing over to police etc.
17. No student will be allowed to contest the college election without 75% class attendance.
18. Students against whom any disciplinary action has been taken will be ineligible to contest college elections.
19. Matters not covered by these rules and regulations are subjected to the discretion of the college authority.
