Department Profile
The Department of Economics is one of the six founding department of the college established in 2020. Initially the classes were held in Inspection Bunglow (Soil), Deithor. The department shifted to the main building of the college in 2021. The academic session started with three permanent faculty and one honours and one non-honours student. At present, there are five honours students in the department. Since its inception, the department engaged in various activities beneficial to the students’ community as well as the faculty and the research community.
