Celebration of the 3rd Foundation Day of Government Model College, Deithor

On 15^th August, 2023, the 3rd Foundation Day of Government Model College, Deithor was celebrated with different programmes. Professor Jyoti Prasad Saikia, Vice-Chancellor of Virangana Sati Sadhana Raiyik Vishwavidyalaya was the chief guest at the event. Dr. Dipok Kumar Bora, Principal, Government Model College, Deithor formally inaugurated the programme by hoisting the flag of the college.  Prof. Dr. Jyoti Prasad Saikia unveiled the News Letter of the College, "Samphri- A Ray of Hope" and the wall magazine "Francesca- Karjong Kejok" prepared by the Department of English. The open meeting was held under the chairmanship of Principal Dr. Bora.

By delivering the keynote address, Dr. Saikia highly appreciated the contribution of the college in the formation of the human resource under the leadership of the principal of the college and the teachers. Dr. Saikia delivered an entertaining speech to all the students.    

Dr. Hemant Sarmah Tamuly, HoD, Department of English anchored the meeting while Mr. Priyanku Hazarika, Assistant Professor, Department of Sociology offered the votes of thanks.

It was followed by a small cultural programme led by the students.
