Disaster Management Committee organized an Awareness talk on ” Earthquake “.

On 11th April, 2025, the Disaster Management Committee of Government Model College, Deithor organized an awareness talk on Earthquake Preparedness. The session was graced by Dr. Dipok Kumar Bora, Principal of GMCD, who was invited as the resource person for the programme.Dr. Bora delivered an insightful talk, shedding light on various important aspects of earthquakes. He elaborated on the causes and impacts of earthquakes, and more importantly, emphasized the precautionary measures to be taken before, during, and after an earthquake. His guidance aimed to equip students and faculty members with the knowledge and awareness necessary to minimize risks during such natural disasters.
